Windows / Linux Antivirus hack

Download a copy of avast linux from

 http://www.avast.com/

run this on a Linux machine, pop windows hard drives in and clean viruses off of them.

If you have issues mounting the HDD install ntfs support.

To install ntfs support use the following command:

sudo apt-get install ntfs-3g

Additionally scanning can also be done this over a network through a virtual with a computer in safe mode and a shared C:s folder with all permissions given to anyone.

Additionally a tool needs to be built which tracks the checksums of vital windows files.

This would operate in a similar way to tripwire ... lets call it winwire
