Below is an example of a spam message.

  1. notice that the subject is one that you do not expect from people that you normally interact with via email.
  2. notice that the name attached to the email is different than the one in the closure
  3. notice the email address has many random characters . it could also be that you noyice it doesn’t make sense or in any way match either names
  4. DO NOT be fooled! this unsubscribe link is used for verifying your email address for targeting AND phishing.
